The course is designed to give beginner and intermediate players a start-from-scratch method to learn how to play the Lap Steel guitar in a Rock and Blues style. All of the basics you need to play Rockin’ Lap Steel are here.
Bruce shows you the essential skills, techniques and musicianship needed to get a great Rock sound on your GBDGBD-tuned Lap Steel as well as some examples in Open D tuning.
Rockin’ Lap Steel is a streaming video course hosted by Modern Music Masters. Your enrollment includes unlimited access with no expiration date.
Unlike a private lesson, you can review the materials by watching the videos over and over, use the video player to slow things down, and print out TABs and other relevant lesson materials.
You’ll have all the necessary close-up shots of Bruce's bar hand and pick hand, perspectives you simply could not get all at once at a private lesson.
The Course is comprised of video content, downloadable PDFs, TABs and practice backing tracks. The course videos are available to stream online 24/7 and the online streaming format allows the flexibility for any lesson to be updated in the future.
The Rockin’ Lap Steel course is one single payment of $149.
For that you get unlimited access to all of the Course materials 24/7/365 anywhere you have an internet connection.
This course has no expire date.
Rockin’ Lap Steel is great for beginners just starting out on Lap Steel, but players at all levels can benefit from the materials presented.
Reso players will be able to readily adapt the material, as Bruce uses the “Dobro” tuning, GBDGBD...and some Open D.
You create an account with Modern Music Masters and are then given access to the Course via your account’s email and password settings.
The Course can be viewed on desktop computers and most mobile devices – phones, tablets, laptops – as long as they have a compatible browser on them, they are a reasonably current version of the OS (iOS needs 11.x or higher) and they are connected to the internet.
You can watch the videos with no limitation as often as you’d like throughout your enrollment.
